Exclusion from Work or School
Non-Pharmaceutical Methods to protect yourself from flu:
1)  Frequent handwashing and use of alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
2)  Cover your coughs and sneezes.
3)  Properly dispose of used tissues.
4)  Avoid touching your nose, eyes and mouth.
5)  Avoid close contact with sick people.
6)  STAY HOME IF YOU ARE SICK!!


High Risk Health Conditions

1) Chronic lung disease such as asthma, COPD or cystic fibrosis
2) Neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, epilepsy, stroke, mental retardation
3) Congenital heart disease, congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease
4) Blood disorders such as sickle cell anemia
5) Diabetes
6) Kidney disorders
7) Liver disorders
8) Those with weakened immune system due to disease or medications (HIV, or AIDS, cancer, those on chronic steroid use)
9) Those under 19 years of age receiving long-term aspirin therapy
